Wind Energy

Wind turbines offshore

Wind power is one of the fastest growing renewable energy worldwide. Wind is used to produce electricity by using the kinetic energy (energy which a body possesses by virtue of being in motion) created by air in motion. This is transformed into electrical energy using wind turbines or wind energy conversion systems. Some good things about the wind energy is like the Solar energy, they don’t pollute the natural environment. Wind turbines don’t produce atmospheric emissions that cause acid rain or greenhouse gasses. The amount of electricity collected depends on the size of a windmill.

Wind Energy also has cons like wind doesn’t blow reliably, a dangerous machine that threatens the wildlifes like birds, sound is up to 50 decibels to 60 decibels and expensive to set up the supplies of building 1 wind turbine is extremely expensive.

In Conclusion, Wind Energy is also a really good source for energy use but it also has cons and pros like Solar energy. So we can fix the problem by making a really simple windmill with cardboard that does not get wet and set it on a place that is scientifically proven that wind blows a lot in that place or put it above a plane because a plane is fast and collect energy from the wind.
